Everyone Paints
Delete your Everyone Paints account

You can delete your Everyone Paints account yourself, from inside the app. It takes effect immediately and needs no approval from us.
In the app
- Open Everyone Paints and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap your profile picture, in the top corner, to open Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Type your username to confirm, then tap Delete.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@everyonepaints.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is yours and do it for you, normally within a few days.
What is deleted
Immediately, and permanently:
- Your email address. It is released, so you can sign up again with it later.
- Your password.
- Your display name and your profile picture, including the stored image file.
- Every signed-in session, on every device.
- Every device registered for notifications.
- Your group memberships.
- Any accounts you had blocked, and any blocks against you.
What is kept
Your past comments remain on the canvases they helped make, permanently detached from you and shown under an anonymous handle that identifies nobody. We would rather say this plainly than bury it: those comments are the record of how each picture came to look the way it does, and other people's contributions are recorded in terms of them. Removing them would rewrite other people's history, not just your own. What is removed is everything connecting them to you.
The same applies to the comments you liked, which are counted into artwork that has already been generated, and to any reports you filed, which have to outlive the account that filed them or a complaint could be withdrawn by deleting the account it was about.
Retention
Nothing above is kept on a delay -- the deletion is a single database operation, not a scheduled job, so there is no window in which a deleted account still exists. Ordinary server logs held by our hosting provider, which record IP addresses and timestamps for security purposes, expire on that provider's own schedule and are not used to reconstruct an account.
