Terms of Use

Everyone Paints is operated by Beczak Digital LLC, a United States limited liability company. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Beczak Digital LLC, and “Everyone Paints” means the service it operates.
These terms cover your use of Everyone Paints. Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.
Your account
You need an account to paint or comment, and you must be at least 13 years old to have one. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Give us a real email address; it is how you recover access and how we reach you about your account.
What the app does with what you write
Comments marked as paint are combined with everyone else's and used to generate the next version of a shared image. This means what you write becomes part of a picture you do not control and cannot take back once it has been applied. You keep ownership of the words you write, and you give us the right to display them, to use them to generate artwork, and to keep them as part of the record of how a canvas evolved — including after you delete your account, in the anonymous form described in the Privacy Policy.
Nobody owns a canvas. Generated images are the product of a crowd's instructions and a model, and no individual contribution makes them yours.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour
This is a shared picture in a shared room, and both are ruined by the same small number of people. Do not post, or try to make the artwork depict:
- Sexual content, and under no circumstances anything sexualising a minor.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying self-harm.
- Hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are.
- Harassment of anyone, here or elsewhere.
- Threats, incitement, or instructions for causing harm.
- Someone else's private information, or a real person's likeness used to deceive.
- Spam, scams, or automated flooding of a canvas.
- Anything unlawful, or anything infringing someone else's rights.
Do not try to defeat the app's limits either — no scraping, no probing for vulnerabilities, no using another account to evade a suspension.
Content sexualising a minor is the one item on that list with a consequence fixed outside these terms: the account is terminated permanently and without appeal, the records are preserved, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as 18 U.S.C. § 2258A requires. The Content & Safety Policy sets out what each of those categories means here and what we do about it, and the Copyright & Trademark Policy is how a rights holder reports an infringement. Both are part of these terms.
Reporting, blocking, and what we do about it
Every comment and every canvas can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any account to stop seeing what it writes. Reports reach a human, and we aim to review them within 24 hours — sooner for anything involving a threat, a minor, or someone who may be in danger.
We may remove content, suspend an account, or terminate it, at our discretion and without notice, when these terms are broken. Suspension is reversible; a removed comment stops shaping the artwork from that point on. If you believe we got it wrong, write to support@everyonepaints.com.
Copyright, and repeat infringement
You keep whatever rights you have in what you write, and you must not post anything you do not have the right to post. That includes using paint comments to reproduce somebody else's work — a character, a photograph, a piece of art — closely enough to substitute for it.
We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Every copyright notice we uphold is recorded against the account behind the material. A first upheld notice means the material is removed and the account is warned; a second means suspension; a third within twelve months means the account is terminated, and terminated accounts are not permitted back. A strike stops counting if the complainant withdraws it or a counter-notice reverses it. Infringement at scale, commercial counterfeiting, and creating a new account to carry on after a termination are terminated at the first instance instead of being worked through that list.

Availability
The app is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be available, that a canvas will repaint on schedule, or that any particular image will be produced. Repainting costs money to run and is subject to daily limits. We may change or discontinue features.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may end your access if you break these terms. The sections about content already contributed survive either ending.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Beczak Digital LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, or for content produced by other people or by a generative model. A trading name cannot hold or disclaim anything; the company named above is the party these terms are with.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the new version.
